(Atlantic) Brian Ruge, with Brown’s Shoe Fit, was named the 2020 Scrooge Contest Winner.
The Scrooge contestants included Brian Ruge with Brown’s Shoe Fit, Tami Shellberg with HyVee, Jon Martens with Aunt B’s, and Team Lundquist: Jeff and Heather Lundquist.
The contestants this year raised a record amount in cash for the Atlantic Food Pantry: $23,348.10. They also brought in a total of 2,415 food items.
Jackie Sampson said this is a worthy cause and it is much needed this year.
The Scrooge contestants thanked everyone, not only in the City of Atlantic but outside of Atlantic as well, who supported this program.
The Scrooge contestants will be featured at the beginning of the lighted parade on December 5th.
Tami Shellberg raised around $3,300 in cash and 375 food items for a total of 17,200 points
Jon Marten raised around $4,300 in cash and 219 food items for a total of 21,580 points
Team Lundquist raised around $4,500 in cash and 1,162 food items for a total of 23,716 points
Brian Ruge raised around $11,200 in cash and 659 food items for a total of 56,659 points
