(Hamburg) Two people were arrested on Theft charges related to a burglary in Fremont County.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a burglary and theft on Thursday that occurred near Hamburg. Several items were reported missing, including a vehicle and camper.
Deputies observed evidence implicating Ashley Clapper, 29, of Rockport, Missouri, and Cameron Gayman, 25, of Hamburg.
Atchison County Deputies made contact with the pair on Interstate 29 in Missouri with the stolen items.
Clapper and Gayman were both charged with three counts of Theft 2nd Degree and more charges are pending. Both are being held in the Atchison County Jail awaiting extradition back to Iowa.
