(Council Bluffs) Council Bluffs Police arrested a man at Bucky’s Gas Station who was wanted on warrants out of Bellevue, Nebraska.
Officers placed the subject identified as 31-year old Paul L. Pearson of Bellevue, into the backseat of a squad car. Pearson worked his handcuffs in front of his body and wrapped a seatbelt around his neck. Officers were able to cut the seatbelt off of Pearson and get him out of the cruiser.
Pearson was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation. He was released and transported to the Pottawattamie County Jail on the charge of Interference with Official Acts.
