(Creston) A distracted driver is blamed for a four-vehicle accident in Creston.
Creston Police say the accident happened at around 6:09 p.m. at Adams and Sumner Streets in Creston. GRMC and Afton EMS transported three people to the Greater Regional Hospital in Creston.
According to the report, a southbound Jeep driven by 17-year old Jackson Spencer Gerdes, of Jefferson, became distracted, failed to stop, and crashed into the third vehicle. The impact caused a chain reaction accident with the three vehicles in front of him.
Officers cited Gerdes for Failure to Stop in an Assured Clear Distance.
