Burn Ban Lifted for Adair County

(Adair County) Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management Director Bob Kempf released a statement this morning stating the open burning ban for Adair County will be lifted effective at noon today.

The State Fire Marshal received the request from Bob Kempf on September 4 when extreme drought conditions expanded to a sizable area in southwest Iowa and parts of Central Iowa.
