(Red Oak) Three people are in custody following a drug bust on Highway 34 in Montgomery County.
Montgomery County Deputies, conducting a routine patrol on Highway 34, observed a white Dodge Charger traveling east at a high rate of speed. Deputies stopped the vehicle near the 34-mile marker. As Deputies approached the car, they could smell a strong odor of Marijuana.
During the investigation, Deputies seized 8.8 pounds of Marijuana, 10.3 ounces of Psilocybin Mushrooms, multiple dosage units of THC wax and oil, and paraphernalia from the vehicle.
Authorities arrested 20-year old Adam Michael Abel, 18-year old Chandler Dean Parker, and 18-year old Dylon Lynn Dowdell, all from the Union County Area.
Deputies arrested the three men for Possession with Intent to Deliver Psilocybin Mushrooms, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, and a drug tax stamp violation.
Authorities transported the three men to the Montgomery County Jail, where they’re being held on a $50,000 bond.
