(Corning, IA) — After a 2-1 start to the season, Southwest Valley will get back on the football field this Friday as they visit Riverside. Head Coach Keegan Longabaugh gave the team off on Labor Day and did not get on the practice field until last Thursday. He says getting the boys some rest was a priority but Longabaugh felt like their offensive and defensive lines have not played their best football in the first part of the season
Longabaugh says they started to show improvement in the 2nd half of the AC/GC game
For the offensive line, Longabaugh is really focusing on playing smart and stopping the pressure in the passing game which should help this week against the Bulldogs
Riverside is 3-1 and has a three game winning streak against the Timberwolves.
