(Atlantic) The Atlantic Police Department reports several arrests and citations from August 14 through August 31.
All arrested individuals were taken to the Cass County Jail.
On August 15, 34-year-old Three Eight Louis and 34-year-old Renson Berdon, both of Atlantic, were arrested for public intoxication. Also on August 15, 37-year-old Desiree Jahn of Atlantic was arrested for first-offense possession of a controlled substance involving methamphetamine, first-offense possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On August 16, Berdon and Louis were arrested again for public intoxication, along with 30-year-old Melvin Siro and 39-year-old Reciever Berdon, all of Atlantic. Sixty-four-year-old Craig Lang of Atlantic was also arrested for public intoxication.
On August 17, 43-year-old Serphyl Phylon of Atlantic was arrested for driving while barred.
On August 19, 24-year-old Bailey Riesgaard of Atlantic was arrested for second-offense OWI. Thirty-year-old Sheets Atan of Atlantic was arrested for assault with intent to inflict serious injury and interference with official acts.
On August 20, 42-year-old Fernando Villa-Diaz of Atlantic was arrested for disorderly conduct/fighting and interference with official acts.
On August 22, 47-year-old Michael Noe of Atlantic was arrested for third or subsequent-offense possession of marijuana, being ineligible to carry dangerous weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia. Twenty-five-year-old JR Berdon of Atlantic was arrested for second-offense OWI.
On August 23, 33-year-old Jason Mark of Atlantic was arrested for third-degree sexual abuse, assault on a person in certain occupations, disorderly conduct, public intoxication and interference with official acts.
On August 26, 54-year-old Jesse Simmons of Atlantic was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief. Forty-five-year-old Jason Woodruff of Atlantic was arrested for first-offense domestic abuse.
On August 30, 37-year-old Kayleene Hopper of Atlantic was arrested for use of a minor in the drug trade and a controlled substance violation.
The department also reported two citations in which the individuals were cited and released.
On August 24, 25-year-old Mertaleen West of Atlantic was cited for simple assault.
On August 31, 39-year-old Tammy Aves of Atlantic was cited for fifth-degree theft, shoplifting.
