(Franklin Co.) Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Franklin County Monday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says a 2016 Chevy Express, driven by 44-year-old Nathaniel Hansen of Northwood, was driving eastbound on 180th Street. A 2014 GMC Sierra, driven by 32-year-old Kyle Gronewold of Ackley, was northbound on Lark Avenue. The GMC Sierra struck the Chevy Express broadside at the uncontrolled intersection. Both vehicles came to rest in the northeast corner ditch.
Kyle Gronewold was transported to Mercy One North Iowa by Mercy Air Med. 31-year-old Tanner Sibert, of Ackley, was transported to Mercy One North Iowa by Franklin General EMS. Nathaniel Hansen was transported to Franklin General by Franklin General EMS.
