(Pottawattamie Co.) The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking public input on a planned bridge replacement on County Road L-19, also known as Rosewood Road, over I-29 (Honey Creek exit) in Pottawattamie County.
Construction is expected to take place in 2028. A detour will be in place while the bridge is closed.
Northbound traffic will be directed to County Road G-12, while southbound traffic will use I-680. Detour signs will be posted during construction.
The Iowa DOT is accepting public comments on the project through August 26. Residents can review project information and submit feedback online, although a name and email address are required to comment.
