(Guthrie Co.) An Audubon man was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Guthrie County Friday evening.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the rollover accident at 1751 Fir Avenue in Coon Rapids at 9:11 p.m. Upon arrival, a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was located on its wheels in the east ditch. Deputies spoke with the driver, 31-year-old Jesse Alexander, who advised that he attempted to navigate the curve, but was going too fast and lost control. The vehicle spun around 180 degrees prior to entering the ditch. Once the Tahoe began to enter the ditch, it rolled one time.
Alexander complained of head and neck pain and was transported by Panora EMS to Methodist Hospital.
He was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control of Motor Vehicle.
