(Corning, IA) — The Pride of Iowa held their conference track and field meet on Monday night. Southwest Valley won the boys meet on their home track with 119 points, just ahead of Mount Ayr with 115. Lenox was third with 114.5, Nodaway Valley 4th with 96 and Martensdale St. Mary’s 5th with 74.
Brody Crozier of the Timberwolves was a two time conference champ in the 100 meter dash and long jump and Walker Bissell won the High Jump.
Gabe Winkelmann of Nodaway Valley is a three time conference champ in the 800, 1600 and 3200 — the sophomore got a season PR in the 800. The Wolverines also won the 4×800 relay.
Mount Ayr won the girls meet with 166 points; Wayne was 2nd with 150 followed by MSM with 103.5, Central Decatur 4th with 89.5 and Nodaway Valley 5th with 51.
