(Harlan, IA) — The Harlan Boys Golf team has tremendous numbers this season — 18 boys are out on the course this spring and that will give Head Coach Chad Swanson plenty of options. Despite the numbers, there are only two seniors so it will be a big young group. Owen Neve is one of those seniors and will be the number one player — Swanson likes it that Neve does not get rattled on the course. The same can be said for Sophomore Caleb Ernst who will be the number two player says Swanson
Swanson says there is no shortage of candidates who can slot from #3 to #6
Swanson says newcomer Sophomore Jacob Spandenberg has a nice swing and Junior Logan Strom has improved the last couple of years.
Swanson wants his guys to work on their game in these early meets and start playing their best golf towards the end of May
Harlan will open their golf season on Monday at Underwood with a triangular with IKM Manning.
