Iowa Soldiers Returning Home After Serving In The Middle East
(Iowa) — A second wave of Iowa soldiers are coming home after serving in the Middle East. About 575 Iowa soldiers from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division are set to come home after being part of Operation Inherent Resolve, a mission fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Welcoming ceremonies are planned in Des Moines, Sioux City, and Cedar Rapids. Exact locations and times will be announced as they are finalized.
Iowa DNR Holding Public Meetings For Hunting Rule Changes
(Iowa) — The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will hold public meetings across the state this week starting today to hear suggestions on possible hunting rule changes. The DNR says comments made at meetings across the state will be considered before any changes are proposed to the Natural Resource Commission.
