(Cass Co.) An annual fundraiser hosted by the Cass County 4-H Endowment Committee is scheduled for tomorrow, March 3.
Colin Rudy, representative from the Cass County 4-H Youth Council, says the annual Pancake Supper will be held from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Cass County Community Center in Atlantic. The Pancake Man will be on hand, and 4-H members will serve sausage, milk, juice, and coffee. The public is invited to enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes for $10/adult and $6/youth 10 & under.
Rudy says the proceeds from the event directly benefit the Cass County 4-H program. The 4-H Program Development Fee is $40 per youth each year to enroll. Instead of individual 4-H’ers and families bearing this expense, the Cass County Extension Council and the 4-H Endowment Committee cover it for members. It is free for youth to join 4-H in Cass County because of this.
Colin Rudy, a senior, will take away a lot learned from 4-H.
Rudy says there will also be a silent auction going on throughout the evening. The local 4-H clubs in Cass County, as well as additional friends of 4-H and local business supporters, can donate items. If a community business is interested in supporting the Pancake Supper with a donation to the Silent Auction, please contact the Extension Office.
