(Lewis) The Iowa Department of Natural Resources State Nursery is offering high-quality, hardwood, conifer, and shrub seedlings. John Lorenzen from the DNR Office in Lewis says the seedlings will be ready for pickup or delivery in April and May.
Lorenzen says the tree varieties include 23 native hardwood species, 8 conifer species, and 15 smaller trees and shrubs.
Lorenzen says the prices range from $1.00 to $1.30 per seedling and come in bundles of 25 (bare root) and range in size from 10 to 30 inches.
