(Omaha) Wintry Mix May Create Slick Travel in Southwest Iowa Sunday and Monday
(Omaha) The National Weather Service says a wintry mix of snow and freezing rain may lead to slick travel conditions on Sunday.
Snow chances will increase throughout Sunday, then transition to mostly rain on Monday.
Light snow accumulations are forecast for up to one to two inches mainly along and south of Interstate 80.
A light glaze of freezing rain and drizzle is possible late Sunday night and early Monday across southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
Keep an eye on the forecast, especially if you have travel plans in southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa on Sunday and Monday.
