(Exira) Exira City Clerk Megan Andersen tells KSOM/KS95 News crews have repaired the water service line to the City of Exira.
Residents should begin to have water service restored. Andersen says pressure may vary until the City of Exira water tower is fully filled and pressure is stabilized across the city’s loop system. “We are asking residents to continue with conservation efforts in order to achieve full system and tower refill as quickly as possible,” said Andersen. “ Residents will likely experience sediment and discolored water over the next few days. At this time, the City of Exira water system is under a boil advisory until further notice.”
Future updates will be provided when the tower has been refilled, the boil advisory can be lifted, or other pertinent events occur.
