(Glenwood) Lewis Central claimed the team championship at the Hawkeye Ten Conference Wrestling Tournament on Saturday in Glenwood, crowning five individual champions and finishing with 259.5 points. The Rams followed in second place with four champions and 233 points, while Atlantic placed third, producing three champions and totaling 198 points.
Glenwood jumped out to a strong start as Ace Cochrane (106) and Quinn Lane (113) captured individual titles. Nile Lundval (175) and Mason Koehler (215) followed with championships of their own, giving Glenwood four conference champions.
Lewis Central added four champions to the mix with Zander Manz (120), Weston Porter (126), Owen Duffek (138) and Mandius Volentine (144) all finishing on top of the podium.
Atlantic also crowned three champions, led by Braxton Hass (132), Jayden Harter (157), and Donovan Hedrington (190). Dayton Van Horn (106) and Dreven Smith (165) each earned runner-up finishes. Video interviews with Hass, Harter, and Hedrington are posted below.
