(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors opened sealed bids for the county bridge project during its regular meeting this morning. Six construction firms bid on the low-water crossing project on 210th Street, west of L Avenue, to replace the current bridge, which was closed a year ago.
The six bids include:
Nelson and Rock Contracting: $101,277.50
Holman Construction: $114,999.00
ESB Clark Heavy Construction: $165,823.20
Murphy Heavy Contracting: $170,158.00
MDX LLC: $176,405.75
Beery Construction: $233,708.25.
County Engineer Karen Albert says they will review the bids and present a recommendation to the board of supervisors at next week’s regular meeting, set for Tuesday, January 27, at 9:00 a.m. Albert says the project’s late start date is April 1, 2026.
