(Atlantic) The Atlantic High School Archery team finished third in the Bullseye and second in the 3D Tournament over the weekend at Atlantic.
Grant Petty led the team in bullseye with a season’s best 291 and a second-place finish in the boys’ individual standings. Two Atlantic competitors finished in the top ten in the girls’ division. Madeline Blake, ninth, with a score of 278, and Gabrielle Engler finished 10th with a score of 276.

Hunter Quist led the boys’ squad in the 3D tourney with a 285. Petty was fifth with a score of 280, and Hank Roberts finished eighth, shooting a 274. In the girls’ division, four Atlantic shooters finished in the top ten. Gabrielle Engler, third, 280, Lily Willrich, fifth, 277, Madeline Blake, sixth, 276, and Elynor Brumme,r eighth, with a score of 270.

The Atlantic Middle School finished fourth in the 3D Tournament. Kira Malley shot 252 and finished ninth, and Alicia Juhl was tenth with a score of 251.

The Atlantic Middle School finished runner-up in the Bullseye Tournament with a score of 357. Colin O’Donnell finished in the top ten, placing 7th in the boys’ division with a score of 262. Alicia Juhl led the girls’ squad with a seventh-place overall, 268.
