(Atlantic) The Atlantic boys’ basketball team hosts Harlan in Hawkeye Ten Conference action tonight. The Trojans carry a (2-9) record into the contest. Harlan is (3-6).
Atlantic Head Coach Dalton Franken has spent a lot of time over the past two days working on improving the flow offensively, getting as many shots up as possible to gain more confidence, and developing a rhythm. Hudson McLaren is coming off his season-best performance on offense last Tuesday at Clarinda. The senior guard scored a season high 18-points.
Coach Franken says when preparing for Harlan, the Trojans will be facing one of the top point guards in the Conference Dallas McDowell. The senior is averaging 16.78 points per game.
Kobe Klaasen is averaging 11.50 points per game, Kolton Schneider averages 8.13, Gabe Arkfeld averages 4.67, and Jake Wageman averages 4.33.
Gavin McLaren leads the Trojans in scoring, averaging 13.73, and Kale Jensen averages 12 points per contest.
