(Bondurant) Polk County Deputies and multiple fire departments responded to a building fire late Thursday afternoon.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the call went out at 5:30 p.m. of a report of a Morton Building fully engulfed in flames in the 9000 block of NE—77th Street.
Authorities say two adult females sustained minor injuries because of the fire. Ground ambulance transported both females to local hospitals for treatment.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
