(Harlan, IA) — The Dean Mosher era begins for the Harlan boys basketball team tonight — the Cyclones host Shenandoah in a Girls Boys Doubleheader, coverage on KSOM.
Mosher was hired to replace long time Head Coach Mitch Osbourn who retired after last season. Harlan is coming off a 9-13 season and loses a lot of inside players like Ben Leinen, Jozef Reisz, and Bryce Van Baale plus Weston Reisz. However, the Cyclones return their top two leading scorers Senior Dallas McDowell (17.4 ppg) and Junior Kobe Klaassen (13.4 ppg). Mosher says McDowell and Klaassen can work between themselves to lead

The Fillies are 2-0 with a 67-50 win over Underwood and a 51-48 victory over CBAL. Shenandoah is led by 5-9 Sophomore Kalyn Scanman who averages 29.5 ppg and 9.5 rbg.
