(Neola, IA) — Tri Center Boys Basketball went 18-6 last season but there was disappointment with that record. The Trojans expected to contend for a state tournament spot so they may be even more motivated this season with four starters returning. Junior AJ Harder (19.1 ppg, 4.8 rbg, 5.0 assists per game) is an all-state player, an all-state scorer but his Dad and Head Coach Chad Harder says his best attribute is getting other players to play better
Senior Cael Witt (8.0 ppg) and Senior Aiden Osbahr (4.8 ppg) are both starters and back this year. Harder says Witt is looking to improve his shooting and Osbahr is in better shape this year. Senior Tyler Baatz (15.3 ppg, 7.8 rbg) was largely an inside player last season and was 0-6 in three point shooting but Harder says his offensive game is diversified
Junior Jayden Johnson should round out the starting line up but Harder expects to go 9 or 10 deep on the roster in his rotation this year
Tri Center will open their season on Tuesday, December 2nd at IKM Manning.
