(Guthrie Center, IA) — It was a light agenda for the Guthrie County Board of Supervisors at Tuesday’s meeting.
The Supervisors did schedule a public hearing per law for a subdivision — Chris Whitaker, the Zoning Administrator for Guthrie County explains the reasoning
The public hearing has been set for Tuesday, December 9th at 9:30 am.
The supervisors also approved Shane Martinson to go from part time to full time as a sheriff deputy. They accepted a letter of resignation from Vicki Gubser on the Regional Airport Authority board because she is moving out of town. That position is now open and applications can be filled out online. The supervisors also adopted Resolution 26-13, the 2nd appropriation for FY 2025-26.
Supervisor Steve Smith did express his desire for the board to consider the issue of EMS sooner rather than later
Supervisor JD Kuster agreed saying he has been asked about what the Supervisors will do about emergency medical services in the county. Chair Maggie Armstrong agreed that it would be put on future agendas.
