It is with a heavy heart wrapped in love and warmth that we share the passing of our radiant soul, Jesi Allen Myers. Born on the 25th of February, 1986, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Oscar and Sandy Myers, Jesi was a brilliant star shining brightly in this world until her journey took her from us on the 14th of November, 2025, at the young age of 39 years, after a brief battle with cancer.
Jesi greeted the world with an open heart, embracing the role of mother with all her spirit and devotion. She adored her children, Paris Myers of Omaha, Nebraska, Oryon Schnoor and Elycse Schnoor of Shelby, Iowa, pouring her love into each moment spent with them. As a proud grandmother to Kysin Ayers, she found joy in watching her family grow, creating memories that they will hold dear forever.
From her early days, she was a passionate, caring individual, graduating from Tri-Center High School and making her way directly into the workforce. Jesi became a fixture in the retail world, where her welcoming personality made every customer feel special. This warmth extended to her love for bartending at Glenn’s in Walnut, where she thrilled at the chance to serve and connect with others, especially her beloved dad, whose opinion of her meant the world.
Though Jesi’s battle with cancer was short yet courageous, her life overflowed with love, crafting beautiful moments that represented who she was. Nature was her sanctuary, and she would often be found outdoors, fishing, creating arts and crafts, or collecting colorful rocks and plants that sparkled like her spirit. As a dedicated fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Rams, she brought her vibrant enthusiasm to cheer on her teams, sharing this passion with friends and family alike.
Her compassion knew no bounds; she had a way of making anyone in need feel embraced and secure. Love poured from her like sunshine, leaving a mark on every life she touched. Jesi is survived by her loving husband Kyle Krueger of Walnut, Iowa; children Paris, Oryon and Elycse; grandson Kysin; father Oscar (Sandy) Myers; step-sister Cheyenne; half-brother Lars; whom will all carry her spirit within them, along with other family and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the family in Jesi’s memory.
Family will greet friends on Friday, November 21st from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.
The Pauley Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
