(Guthrie Center, IA) — It was another 20 win season for AC/GC Volleyball in 2025 — their 7th in their last 9 years. The Chargers finished 24-12 and were third in the West Central Conference. They lose three seniors — Camdyn Richter was 2nd on the team with 262 kills, 2nd in digs with 235 and 3rd in aces with 45; Setter Becca Littler had 764 assists and Savannah Akers came off the bench. Head Coach Caley Vaughan says they will be difficult to replace
It was a monster season for Junior Stella Largent who more than likely will be an All State selection when the Iowa Girls Coaches Association releases them this week. Largent finished 4th in the entire state in kills with 514 and Vaughan says she is an amazing all around athlete
AC/GC has six juniors who will give the Chargers a huge senior class — Noa Langaard (59 kills, 28 blocks) and Ilana Baumert (48 assists, 284 digs) were both starters; Meranda Gruber, Rylee Robson, Olivia Mahaffey will asked to do more plus Largent. Vaughan is excited about her young players and Freshman Kailee Kautzky was a starter this year
This was Caley Vaughan’s first season as the Chargers Head Coach.
