(Atlantic) Atlantic High School students will soon take the spotlight for the fall musical production, “Mean Girls.”
Mean Girls tells the story of Cady, a new student at North Shore High, as she navigates the complex world of teenage cliques known as the “Plastics.”
What begins as an attempt to fit in soon spirals into a battle for popularity against Regina George, the school’s infamous “Queen Bee.” Along the way, Cady learns valuable lessons about friendship, honesty, and the consequences of her choices.

Sophomore Katrina Keasey plays the character “Cady,” a homeschooled teenager who transfers to a new high school (North Shore High), and quickly befriends outcasts Janis and Damian.

Sophomore David Blake portrays Damian, another outcast who befriends Cady and helps her navigate the social dynamics.

Senior Grace Mitchell plays the part of Janis, a shy girl who also befriends Cady.

Senior Sophie Johnson plays the part of Regina, the leader of the popular clique known as the “Plastics.” The clique is known for its fashion sense and social superiority.

Senior Claire Comer portrays Gretchen, the wealthy yet insecure sidekick to Regina. Comer shares what she hopes the audience will take away from this musical production.

Harper Whitney plays the part of Karen.
Performances will take place in the Atlantic High School Auditorium on Friday, November 14, and Saturday, November 15, at 7:00 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, November 16, at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $8.00 for all attendees for the Friday and Saturday Shows.
