(Undated) — A health expert is offering some tips on how to recognize possible mental health related issues in children. Child psychologist Kate Eshleman with the Cleveland Clinic says increased crying, irritability and anger as well as frequent stomach and headaches are signs a child could be suffering from anxiety and depression.
Eshleman says parents should look for changes in behavior such as the child no longer engaging in activities that they used to enjoy. She recommends parents reach out to their pediatrician if there are concerns in these areas.
