Larry McCann, 87, of Greenfield, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Lakeside Village in Panora.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Greenfield Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by the Greenfield American Legion Head-Endres Post No. 265 and V.F.W. Post No. 5357 and the Army Funeral Honor Guard. A luncheon will be held at the Greenfield United Methodist Church following the graveside service. Pastor Melinda Stonebraker will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Larry McCann Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
He is survived by his children, Ron McCann (Chandra) of Greenfield, Steve McCann (Becky) of Panora, Deb Newton (David) of Greenfield, Denise Almobaied (Nedol) of Greenfield and Bruce McCann of Adair; brother, Mike McCann (Becky) of Oswego, Illinois; sister, Holly Lundy of Missouri; sisters-in-law, Bette McCann of Wiota and Nancy Wiggins of Johnston; eleven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
