(Louisa County, IA) — A Louisa County man is facing charges of abusing a corpse after police found a body in a ditch with signs it had been dragged.
The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office says a tow truck driver discovered the body of a 58 year-old man while preparing to tow a van near Columbus Junction. Police found a weapon in the van and followed drag marks to a nearby building where they located Salvador Castenada. There, police say they found more evidence tying Castenada to the crime.
He’s set to appear in court next week.
