(Council Bluffs) Forty Iowans recently completed the 2024-2025 Leadership Iowa program, the state’s premier leadership development initiative offered by the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) Foundation.
The class was honored during a June 12 graduation ceremony at the ABI Taking Care of Business Conference.
Participants engaged in monthly, two-day sessions across the state, exploring key issues such as agriculture, economic development, education, and public safety. Since its inception in 1982, nearly 1,500 Iowans have graduated from the program.
“These leaders truly demonstrate what’s possible when Iowans unite to learn, lead, and drive positive change,” said Jessi McQuerrey, ABI Foundation director of programs.
2024-2025 participants from Southwest Iowa include: Adam Buckentine with Pillar Property Management in Council Bluffs, Matthew Henkes with Iowa West Foundation in Council Bluffs, Eric Nelson with Puck Enterprises in Manning, and Casey Wenstrand with Southwestern Community College (Iowa STEM) in Red Oak.
