Trojan Boys Soccer Looking to Turn Things Around This Week

(Atlantic, IA) — It’s been a loss and a tie for the Atlantic Boys Soccer team in their first two games of the season this past week. Now, Head Coach Mark Andersen must go into Monday against one of the best teams in the Hawkeye Ten without his best player. Senior Midfield Hadin Thompson is battling a foot injury and won’t play against Glenwood but Andersen says he will not be on the sidelines long

Atlantic has a young roster — just three seniors — and so far neither a junior or senior has scored this season. Andersen believes he has not seen the best this team can play, especially on offense

Andersen does expect to see a rotation at goalkeeper — Sophomore Trevor Ellison started both games but Sophomore Nolyn Kinney saw some action in the 2nd half against Carroll. So Coach do you rotate the keepers or do you go with however has the hot hand?
