(Atlantic) The Atlantic girl’s track team is nearing the end of its third week of pre-season workouts, with a roster of twenty-nine athletes for the 2025 season. This year’s team includes 14 returning letter winners.
Atlantic Head Coach Matt Mullenix mentioned that three of the letter winners are seniors: Morgan Botos, Hailey Huffman, and Jersey Phippen.
The six junior letter winners returning this season are Adler Bruce, Taylee Hagen, Olivia Olson, Jayci Reed, Lila Wiederstein, and Katrina Williams
The team also returns five sophomore letterwinners: Abigail Andersen, Brynn Lamp, Allison Middents, Madelyn Myers, and Stella Van Aernam.
The Atlantic girl’s track team will compete at the Iowa Association of Track Coaches State Indoor Meet on Friday in Ames.
