(Griswold, IA) — It was an up and down season for Griswold girls basketball — a 6-16 record and five straight losses to end the campaign but Head Coach Aaron Houser did see some improvement in some areas
The Tigers only shot 27 percent as a team and only 21 percent from three point land. Griswold loses two senior starters Addison Adams who was 2nd on the team in scoring and Abby Gohlinghorst plus Ryleigh Harrison, Brenna Tye and Jadeyn Dishong. Coming back is 2nd team all conference player Sophomore Amanda Houser handled the ball and Coach Houser says that helped her to evolve as an offensive player
Griswold will be young next year with just one senior — Josie Millikan was a good shot blocker for the Tigers in her junior season and Houser will look to a group of Sophomores to step up their games
Griswold has not had a 10 win season since they won 15 games in 2018-19.
