(Shelby Co) The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Banquet and Awards ceremony will on March 21st.
Shelby County Chamber of Commerce & Industry Director Todd Valline, appearing at the Harlan City Council meeting on Tuesday, said the Chamber is now accepting nominations for the Citizen of the Year Award. Community members are encouraged to submit nominations by sending a letter to the Chamber’s office at 1901 Hawkeye Avenue or via email.
Todd Valline also mentioned to the Harlan City Council that the Harlan Community High School Class of 2028 is attempting to raise $80,000 in donations to buy a video board in memory of their classmate Mia Schwieso. Donations will be accepted at any Shelby County State Bank location.
