(Creston) Creston Police arrested 35-year-old John Franklin Smith III, from San Jose, California, at the Amtrak Depot on Thursday on a warrant from an outside agency for possession of drug paraphernalia, with intent to deliver marijuana, attached used drug stamp and possession of a controlled substance. Officers transported Smith III to the Union County Jail on local charges, with his bond set at $11,300.00 and no bond for the Nationwide warrant out of California.
In another Activity, 26-year-old Monica Nicole Johnston of Creston faces driving charges while suspended—authorities released on a promise to appear.
