(Winterset) Atlantic travels to Winterset to compete in the regional duals. The #13 rated Trojans matchup against #10 Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in the semi-finals. The winner wrestles Winterset in the regional finals.
Atlantic Head Coach Tim Duff considers his team the underdog due to the rankings and the fact that they fell short of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont early in the season.
The winner will turn around and wrestle Winterset for a ticket to the state dual tournament on Saturday. Coach Duff says the focus is on the team right now.
The Trojans have a lot of momentum heading into the Regional Duals. They won team titles at the Rollin Dyer Tournament and John J. Harris Wrestling Tournament and captured the team title at the Hawkeye Ten Conference Tournament this past Saturday.
