(Red Oak) The City of Red Oak was awarded a $15,000 Certified Local Government grant from the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
The grant funding will be used for an intensive survey and evaluation that will be conducted of the East Hill historic district. Many of these homes have historical significance as they were constructed for founders of the community.
The total project cost is $33,604.
