Spartans Head Coach Tom Petersen says the goal is to play at your best when February rolls around. Petersen says the team has shown a lot of improvement over the second half of the season.
Regarding Atlantic, Coach Petersen is most impressed with their inside game with Paytn Harter and Katrina Williams.
Atlantic Head Coach Dan Vargason feels good about the way his team is performing late in the season. He mentions this game against Exira/EHK is the kind of challenge they strive for this time of year.
Vargason notes the Spartans have players all over the court that can make plays for them.
Harter leads Atlantic offensively, averaging 16.56 points per game, and Schroeder, 11.22, and Williams, 9.50. Taryn Petersen leads the Spartans on offense, averaging 22.81 points per outing, and Jaelynn Petersen averages 11.08.
