(Atlantic) The Atlantic Business and Professional Women are offering four scholarships, each worth $1,000, for the year 2025.
*The Collen Scholarship**: This scholarship is available to any female student who is a resident of Cass, Shelby, or Audubon Counties in Iowa. Eligible students must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Systems Management, Chemistry, or Engineering. Students may attend college either full-time or part-time.
*Atlantic BPW Scholarship**: This scholarship is specifically for residents of Cass County, Iowa. It provides financial aid to individuals who need education to re-enter the workforce, gain additional qualifications for their career, meet educational requirements for employment, or continue their education after interruptions due to family or other commitments. Applicants must be non-traditional students and meet other requirements outlined in the application.
*Bev Mendenhall Nursing Scholarship**: This scholarship honors the memory of long-time Atlantic BPW member Bev Mendenhall. It is available to non-traditional students who are residents of Cass County, Iowa, and meet the additional criteria specified in the application. 4.
*Don Sonntag Nursing Scholarship**: Funded by a generous donation from the family of the late Don Sonntag, this scholarship is available to high school graduates or non-traditional students seeking education in a nursing-related field.
Applications for all scholarships are due by April 1, 2025.
