(Hardin Co) A Radcliffe woman died following a car vs train accident in Hardin County Thursday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says 71-year-old Kathaleen Houck was driving a 2021 Toyota Prius eastbound on 290th Street and failed to yield to a northbound train. The front of the train made contact with the rear passenger side of the car.
Houck was transported to Des Moines Methodist by Life Flight where she was later pronounced deceased.
The accident remains under investigation.
