(Undated) The deadlines are approaching to get holiday cards and packages in the mail in time for Christmas. Christian Johnston of the U.S. Postal Service says one way to ensure that your mail gets to its destination on time is to double-check that it’s appropriately addressed.
Johnston says ensuring you have the proper size box before sending out those gifts is a good idea.
Postal officials say the deadline to send first-class mail or use USPS Ground Advantage is December 18th. Priority Mail should go out by December 19th, while Priority Mail Express items should be sent by December 21st.
