Iowa State University Professor Stephen Dinsmore, says the “Blandings” turtle is becoming harder to find in Iowa.
ISU researchers & the Blank Park Zoo are caring for about 50-Blandings turtle hatchlings, which will eventually be released into the wild.
The zoo is hosting an education event this Sunday afternoon about the turtle, from 1-2 p.m.
