(Des Moines) Gas prices continue to decline in some parts of Iowa, and rise in other areas, starting this post-election week. Triple A says the statewide average is at two-81 per gallon as of yesterday morning. That’s slightly below where gas prices were this time last week, and about 18 cents cheaper than the same time last month. Regionally, prices are generally higher in the northeast half of the state, and lower in the southwest half.
