(Washington, DC) — Officials are warning of illegal online pharmacies selling counterfeit pills made with fentanyl and meth.
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has issued a safety alert about the increase. It says it found websites in the Dominican Republic and India that claim to be legitimate but are working with drug traffickers.
A warning was also issued from the CDC this week about a potential public health risk from ordering what appears to be prescription meds from online pharmacies.
