(Atlantic) As the Cross-Country season winds down, Atlantic Head Coach Dan Vargason says the Trojans are ramping up their workouts. The Trojans host their meet on Thursday, October 10, at Nishna Hills Golf Course. The Hawkeye Ten Conference meet is next week, and the State Qualifying meet is on Wednesday, October 23.
The teams competing in the Trojan Invitational on Thursday include Atlantic, Audubon, Clarinda, Council Bluffs, Abraham Lincoln, Creston, Denison-Schleswig, Earlham, Fremont-Mills, Glenwood, Harlan, Kuemper, Catholic, Lenox, Lewis Central, Lincoln Pius X, Nodaway Valley, Red Oak, Riverside, Sergeant Bluff-Luton, Shenandoah, St. Albert, Stanton, Treynor, and Winterset.
The meet starts at 4:00 p.m. with the Middle School Girls, followed by the Middle School Boys, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys.
