Phyllis Mewhirter, 99, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Heritage House in Atlantic.
Phyllis is survived by her sons, Roger (Corinne) Mewhirter of Las Vegas, NV, Richard (Judy) Mewhirter of Dallas, TX, and Brian (Joan) Mewhirter of Atlantic, IA; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., October 5th at the First United Methodist Church in Atlantic. Immediately following the service, the family invites you to join them for a time of visitation and lunch in the fellowship hall. A private family inurnment will be held in the Atlantic Cemetery.
