(Atlantic) Council Bluffs Jefferson Head Coach Jeremiah Watters is happy Atlantic Head Coach Joe Brummer accepted the week zero matchup with Atlantic. The Yellowjackets played Omaha South one year ago, but it did not count for anything, so they began searching for a ninth game, and Coach Brummer agreed to play in week zero.
Coach Watters is looking forward to squaring off against Atlantic. From a coaching standpoint, both teams are in similar situations.
Coach Watters says they must stick to what they want to do and execute.
The Yellow Jackets return eight starters on offense and six starters on defense. The kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The broadcast will be on 95.7 F.M., and the game will be live video-streamed on westerniowatoday.com.
